I installed the Cobra side skirts on my GT but I need some suggestions from anyone who has installed these in their GT. As you know there are two pieces per side...a short piece that screws into the front fender and the long piece that runs below the door. My passenger side went on beautifully but on my drivers side the small piece doesn't meet flush to the long piece and there is about a half inch gap between the two. There is absolutely no play in order to bring them together, all the retainer clips are in their proper holes so the skirts won't budge...I just don't understand why one side doesn't fit properly and the other does??? Any suggestions or anyone else run into this?

have you ever used a jack on that side of the car? there might be some floorpan warpage/damage

The above is likely. Just bend the lip in that the push type retainers attach to.
