Code 84

Would this code creat a rough idle?

EGR Vacuum Regulator - Solenoids
EGR cutoff solenoid - Solenoids
EGR Vent solenoid - Solenoids

My car has a steeda #19 cam Trick flow track heat intake afr 165 heads and a v1 S/C

I got the car to idle fine, just the idle would hang at 1600 while coming to a stop. it would drop about 200 and jump back up but nothing bad. Took it to my tuner because it was idling at 1100 and he said "Im not commanding it to idle that high so it must be machanical" he walked over to the idle screw and started messing with it without re posistioning the TPS (Not sure if that matters) but now it dies while at a stop and about 90% while coming to a stop. I had it set up to where it wouldnt die on me but after what he did, i cant get it back to where i had it.... i've tried cleaning everything, making sure the TPS is working right. he sprayed stuff all over to see if i had a leak, and i didnt.. any help would be awesome. :(

I just went back out and adjusted it a little more, i took the spout out and it idled perfect....put it back in and it would kill itself. (Took it out with the car off and turned it on, idle didnt surge at all) (Turned the car off again plugging the spout back in and boom, surging, almost killing itself and then it does after about 30-50 seconds of idle.)

i really dont know whats going on now.. Is it grounding out somewhere and creating a random surge? How does pulling the spout out improve the surge? Only thing i can think of is its a really small surge, something like 10-40 rpm and the computer gives it air and advances a little bit of timing, then pulls it and it dies?

Any help would be awesome. but a recap! Spout out, amazing idle. Spout in, surging and a massive headace :rlaugh:

You have a PIH swap?
Do you have a functional EGR (or was it removed)?

I'd still be looking for vac leaks if this came from nowhere. Check the vac feed into the EGR solenoid, which is in the passenger fenderwell. This could create a vac leak and generate the code.

The EGR was deleted and i dont have a PIH swap, they were supposed to turn that code off when they did the first tune and i guess never did. Im going back later this week so he can turn it off. this problem came up after the intake T/B and MAF swap. (the idle would hang) then it would surge.

went in, they did everything they could. I think i messed up the code. It was 34 or 344. just found another post with that in it so i wont keep this one going but would i have to worry about that code if i deleted my EGR? Trying a new IAC here tonight. see if that helps.

I still dont know why every about 30-40 seconds my car trys to fall on its face. sits there and idles fine, then 30-40 seconds go by and it drops off.
