So this is in part with this thread i have going with no luck http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/814294-still-missing.html i went to 2 schucks today and used 2 different scan tools. I get the same thing from both. When i get to the part to start the engine it kills it right away. Then it wont restart unless i give it throttle and it runs rough at first (split sec) then normal. Then the reader says retrieval in progress and thats all it will say forever. It never gives me codes or nothing! I can sit there for 5 minutes or 15 minutes! So WTF could it be?Also i noticed today on my drive,if i'm coasting and put it in neutral and floor it it hits like 5000-5200 and sounds like it's on the rev limiter? It also does this if i get on it in gear. I dont have a rev limiter and the tune is programed higher then that. Plus i launch at 5800 with no problems while racing, and have seen 6200 a few times from miss shifts. Can anyone say where all the grounds are for the computer? Would O2's only cause a problem once warmed up? And could they cause a miss at any speed and in any gear, but not in neutral?peace

Well i'm totally stumped on this one and it seems like alot,if not everyone else is? I'm going to start with the grounds i can find, but i know they are all good in the bay cause i just redid them when i did my bay. What i dont understand tho is?Why can i retreive the KOEO codes but the KOER codes?????? Makdaddymac i dont think we have the same problem,my car has tons of power it just cuts out for literaly a split sec.And i doubt we have even close to the same mods,as far as backyard mods i know i dont have them.peace

If you have certain codes in the KOEO test, then it wont allow the KOER test to initiate. Code 67 is the most common. 26 and 66 will also cause no KOER codes to be flashed. So you would have to fix these issues first.

The only KOEO code i got was DTC:85 canister purge solenoid circuit failure. I'm assuming it has to do with the emissions and none of that crap have been hooked up for over 4 years. I did talk to the service at ford and they said it could be the plugs or wires? I would think if it was them they would do it weather cold or hot, idol or under a load. The problem dosent happen when i rev it up in neutral. What is codes 26 and 66 and 67 peace

I dont have A/C nor has it been hooked up in over 4 years, so i dont think thats it. What would cause 66?Well i'll try to clean it and see. have you or anyone else used that MAF sensor cleaner they have out now? I did notice my K&N filter is dusty/dirty a little. I dont use the oil on it cause i heard it's not good for your MAF? i'll try to clean it and see how it goes? Thanks! peace

Is the black thingy on top of the TB your IAC or the TPS?How do you set it if it's the TPS?What should it be set at? So is the round thing on the side of the TB the IAC if the other part is the TPS? peace
