i do remember seeing 12v at pin 46 with ecm unplugged while just cranking, and clutch in cranking. i will check others tomorrow i do believe they were very minimal though.

46 shouldnt have any( technically) voltage under any conditions.

Was this and auto Car to begin with?

no not that i can tell it has all the 5 speed wiring, i even swapped the clutch switch out of my 93 thinking it may have an internal short and it made no difference.

Unplug the O2 harness from the Black 8 Pin connector on the passenger side fender well then do the volatge test again. Let me know.

Ford had a few variations in wiring done to the 02 harness. Specially from an Auto to Manual or even different year Manual 02 harnesses.

What was the 93, auto or manual?

its a manual, it was a four cylinder conversion that my might have been auto, but im pretty sure the donor car was all five speed, is there a easy way to tell by looking at the o2 harness?

Yep, look at the O2 harness from the 02 side, not the ECM main harness side. Look for a looped wire on that side. Each row of PIN's has 4 wires. Look and see if the Looped wire is on the same 4 wire PIN row.

Let me know

one row has 3 wires, and one row has 4 wires, the looped wire is the 3rd and 4th of each row

Looped wire is on the same row of 4 wires? Or on 2 different rows?

PM sent.

It sounds like a 5 speed 02 harness.

ok on the ecu side of the connector there is a wire where the empty spot is on the o2 side, and that wire is purple with yellow tracer.

As far as I know, that Purple/yellow wire is supposed to be where the looped Blue/yellow wire goes.

if you can just snip the Looped wire, then go back and do the Cranking voltage test on PIN 46. See what you get.

Another question, what are the wire colors that the Looped wire connects on the ECU side of the connector?

the wire colors on the ecu side are blue with yellow tracer (4 wire row), and white with black tracer ( 3 wire row). i snipped the looped wire and checked my voltage when cranking, clutch in cranking, key on, and key off voltages were all minimal. soldered the open on the ecu and plugged ecu in and car seems to run good. still have some codes though, 67, 22, were my my concerns (i had egr and evap out of range do to the fact they're unplugged), 67 had was something with neutral safety switch i believe, and 22 with baro.

Because of the sniped wire, your gonna get code 67. I'm pretty sure that to get it to go away, your gonna have to reconnect the looped wire, to the purple/ yellow. But, when you do this, you'll need to remove the ECM and do the PIN 46 voltage tests again, cranking and all.

Code 67 will not let the KOER test initiate.
