Help.I want to use Monroe struts to begin with on a 1990 fox coil over conversion, later to add rear coil overs and Koni struts(red).I want approximate 1 inch lower ride height and am using "B" springs with Koni reds in the back.I will use MM C/C plates with install. What is a stock ride height on this car?Had "B" springs when purchased. Is there any affordable coil over set that works well and if noisy how can I quiet them? Can I use MM coil overs with OEM replacement type from Napa Monroe struts just to get setup?I expect around 250 lb springs will be a good starting point.Anyone use Dynamic racing products coil overs as sold on E-bay?Car is AOD, will be primarily a daily driver with occasionally aggressive driving style.

The MM stuff is top notch, but I used Granatelli coil overs and had little/no extra noise. People talk about some kits the parts fitting "loose" but the GMS does not. With coil overs, you set the ride hight where you want it.

The only struts I know of that require the special coil overs are the Billstiens because they are so wide. Monroe are designed as OE Replacments, so standard should work fine.

Did the Granatelli's stay in adjustment?Where does the noise from coilovers typically come from? What makes MM coilovers so good as opposed to other companies products?
