I've heard good things on the Brisk plugs. What is the cost on the plugs and coil packs?

coil packs were $389.99 plus shipping.ordered from mike at SPEED UNLMITED great to work with and talk to.plugs from Steeda $146.00 counting shipping.you have to regap the plugs.first chance to get out on on the car today, and you can feel the differance from about 2500 rpm up.it bites big time.there is a gain in both hp&torq.5.0 n the new issue put the packs on a blown 04 gt and gained 40 hp according to the story.i'd be happy to get half that.i'm hopeing to get in to dyno this week to see.just had it done2 wks ago and with steeda cai+the inlet tube, preditor tune, and mac axle backs, plus the dyno tune came out with 292 hp,and289 torq on 91 octane.i'm hoping to go to 300 at least.i'll post after

What did you gap the new Brisk spark plugs to. Did you gap to factory spec or something different because of the hotter coil packs which I also have on my stang.

ok,brisk #3vr17ys gaped at 45 to start.msd#82428.you can tell the difference right from the start.most of the hesatation is gone if not all,mid rpms comes on strong, you can feel the torque.the new issue of 5.0 has the test they did with a blown 04 and the results were excellent.40 hp overall.i e-mailed msd an they want to know some imput on them.i'm trying to get time to go back to dyno to see what i picked up.will post.hopefully next week.bought plugs at steeda,$146.53 with the shipping, coils at speed unlimited $389.99 ask for mike, great to talk to.

When are you going to get it dynoed? Also will it be the same dyno as before? Will this be the only mod since you last had the car on the dyno?

well just got back fron dyno and weather sucks.it was done at 9:15 this morning with 94 degrees, 43%humidty.no gains as weather was't there.we did do a few more tweeks here and there .biggest improvement was tranny.did some adj. and car is smother and tighter in the shifts.when the weather gets better going to do it again.the plugs and coil packs did make a difference, just did't see it with weather.i'll keep posting.

Unless you remove the packs and plugs (MSD and Brisks) and install the stock plugs/stock coils, then do dyno runs (with a cool down period). You really aren't going to get an accurate reading. Even if you can get on the dyno with similar conditions from the last run (before the install of the plugs and coils), then it is not going to show the real difference.

was't enough time to do that as they put me in between apps.when i left i got on it, and with the tweeks he did today theres an improvement.the tranny is smooth and shifts really tight for auto.if we had the time i think it would have showed a fairly good improvement.he raised the shift points and redline a little.fuel was right at 13.3 wot.as things go along i'll post.if your thinking about the packs&plugs, the packs are a set price, the plugs shop around as i have seen them at forced lighting for$80.00.there are a bunch of dist. for them if you go to brisks site.
