I just installed Motoblue performance coilpacks this morning, they cost me $199.00






And I would have to agree they do give a noticeable sotp gain! I'm might take her to the dyno for giggles to see if they actually show any gains.

plugs and packs did make a difference.like i said earlier,when the rains stop i'm going to the dyno again.you can feel the difference.feels like more torque all the way up thru rpm's.if i go out in the early a.m. before it gets humid,you can really feel the responce.

I installed the MSD Coil packs on my 07 GT and noticed a major gain in power especially the low end torque. It is especially good when its cooler out. Very easy install but be careful that the internal springs "coils" are not jammed from the factory and are fully extended to the end of the boot. I didnt look at this first, took a ride something was wrong and I had to take them out and reinstall them. Solved the problem. They look cool and really perform. A must upgrade for your Stang. Later fellas

i went to brisk plugs.only ones that have deep socket plugs for 05-07s

I expected as much. Dyno runs on other forums show that aftermarket plugs and/or coil packs on a N/A S197 do not produce any more power than the stock units, assuming the latter are working properly. However, they can produce some extra hp on a FI engine.

I kept the stock plugs for now since I only have 2500 miles on the car. I'd hate to just throw perfectly good ones away but eventually I will switch because people say they make a difference. For now I'm very happy with the difference the COP's made without new plugs. I think you will be too. Later

I have a set of those that I will finally have time to put in this weekend. Did you encounter any problems during the install? Any tips?

Although everyone seems to say they "feel" the difference - I still have yet to see anyone gain HP on the naturally aspirated motor on the DYNO.
Before I go spending $250-$400 on COPs and additional $100-$150 on plugs - I need to see some PROVEN dyno results.

I have an appointment next Thursday on a dyno to finish fine tuning my car. I may hold off installing the packs and get baseline numbers before and after the install of the packs. I will post before and after numbers if it works out.

i just got a set of motoblue cop and it does feel better on low and mid range. the diffrent felt just like when i put the udp on, it pull harder and sound diffrent,i'll be posting dyno when i get free frome work since dyno only cost 20 doller for 3 pull here en puerto rico

i'll be doing the three pull before&after once the weather gets cooler here in phx.yes you can feel the difference.

So, anyone have any dyno results yet on their COP?

I see Summitt Racing now has a set for 05+ Mustang GT for $199.

They advertise up to 15 hp with their product. They didn't mention anything about having new plugs installed along with their cop's.

So, we definitely need some dyno results to make this believeable.

those are not msd.they are either granatlli or moto blue.msd are $389.95 no matter who sells them.msd makes there own,the other two are made by micro tech along with all the stock ones from the car makers.i put the granetlli connectors on the msd packs after some checking around.the msd ones are only springs and granetllis are a heavy wire type that makes better contact.

I have run both the Granatelli and MSD COPs. They both work good but the Granatelli I had COP failures left and right.
I have the MSD running now. They really rock.
I run 11-12 PSI of boost.
1) They eliminate spark blow-out at high boost - completely
2) they defiatley added power - can feel it in SOTP.
3) They make my motor run smoother and hesitate less.
I have already seen dyno results for high voltage COPs and I know they work.
I can change from the MSD to stock COPs in 30 minutes and feel the difference immediately. This is a good cost effective mod especially when running boost.
Anyone who says this is BS is wrong because these work quite well on the 3-valve
If do I run stock COPs I get spark blow-out occasionally.
