I recently purchased a coilover setup aswell as cc plates. Recently however, I have been doing some research on them and have found that they place a alot of stress on the shock and tend to distort them aswell as the inner fender wells. My question to you guys is this would it be a good idea to purchase some 16-18 gauge mild steel and reinforce the **** out them inside and out. I wanted to smooth them anyways. I do have a decent mig and can weld fairly well.
