Can anyone look at my data log and tune and help me out with fixing my cold start surging idle? My engine combo is in my sig if that helps. I'm pretty new to tuning and need some help. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've been having a similar issue with mine. I can't look at the tune currently, but I did find raising the cold portion of the Initial Values table under idle helped a lot. You'll also need tweak the Warm Up Enrichment.

Thanks. I was messing with the tune and I added more fuel to the WUE and it helped. I also upped my timing and leaned out my VE. My engine seems to like 18* of timing and 14.5-15.0 AFR. Previously I was at 14* and 13.5 AFR.

Was the engine fully warmed up when you adjusted the VE?

Dont forget that there is a warm up advance adder table as well. Some engines like more timing during warmup and some like reduced timing.

Is there an indicator for which way it needs to go? Or something to look for in a log?

I simply play with the values. the hard thing about cold starts is it only happens once a day
