Has anyone else thought that there car runs a bit rougher/underpowered in cold weather, with a 93 octane tune? By cold, I mean 40-50F. It seems this way to me. Only thing I can think of is that the knock sensors could pick something up and detune a bit, but that seems kind of extreme.

Either that, or I could just be getting used to the tune and need to compensate with more powah! :jaw:

Rough Start up

Mine has an interesting start up event when cold. Below 20f it almost always coughs, staggers, sputters on the first attempt. Sometimes on the first start atttempt it actually does run after staggering for about 20 whole seconds (seems like for ever ..... it's hard to hear it running that bad!). Many times it dies on the first attempt, But the second attempt is like it is at warmer temps: touch the starter and it runs perfectly.

My guess would be that the computer readjusts after the first attempt and then it runs.

My car has the Htrap removed of course, and the original SCT Xcalibrator 91 oct tune. BTW I am very disappointed the the Xcalbrator Extreme tune softwware. This package of @#$% was never fully functional at the time I bought it........ and, yes, I've down loaded the later versions.

That's my experiences!
