I'm doing some gaskets on a long block I have before I drop it in. I'm looking at the Cometic timing cover gasket which is rubber with a metal core. Anyone have any experience with them. I wanna drop this in and hopefully not have to touch the gaskets again for a LONG time. Also thinking about the Ford Racing one piece oil pan gasket, also rubber with a metal core.
