That looks awesome. :nice: I've always liked those wheels on hotrods and older muscle cars, but it never occured to me that they might look good a foxbody.

Yeah Thanks. I wanted something different and I wanted thsoe wheels for a street rod that I want to start building soon. So I thought hey, I'll put them on my convetible and then I'll have them and I'll have a car with a unique set of wheels too. Reponse has been overwhelmingly positive.

What I hear most is along the lines of not the same ol', same ol'. Most peopel seem to like it. Which is cool. Not everyone likes it though, which is fine 'cause I liek it and that is what matters.

When they coem off for the street rod I may do American Racing Hopsters in 17x8 and 255/45 all around.

I also read somewhere that the master cylinder and brake lines must also be changed with the swap due to the increased rotor and drum size (isn't it like a 1" increase for both the drums and rotors?)... is that true?

thanks

I Have been putting together my 5 lug conversion for a little less than a year (lived in Hawaii and no parts really there). I am going the sn-95 route for the better brakes and will hopefully use the PBR calipers for the dual pistons. From what I know you don't have to change out the master cylinder if you aren't going to use rear disc brakes. the stocker will be fun for rear drums. Someone might say different but you have the person who started this thread saying that he did not change it and it works fine. good luck

Yeah, but he's not running any SN-95-specific brake parts on there, just Lincoln rotors and Ranger axles, so he's still using stock brakes. So, in his case, there is definitely no need for a different MC.
