Computer Flash instead of chip

Looking for some more go and I'm thinking I can get some with less gas and more timing. I would prefer to have the computer reflashed with a more aggressive tune rather than stick a chip in it. I understand that is being done now, but I don't know who is doing it. I'm in the Dallas area. Suggestions?

There is very little difference between a reflash and a chip. FordChip offers such a choice . I currently have one of their reflashes
.
If I could do it again, I would not take the reflash and here's why.
Say something goes wrong (and it always does) and you need to go back to stock. You're screwed. You're stuck with this modified tune. You have to then find someone who can reflash you back to stock, or get back to your original tuner - which sometimes isnt readily available as an option (couch - FordChip - couch) .With a chip, its a matter of unplugging it and you're back to stock. Tis very scenario actually happened to me and I now have a reflashed computer, and a chip over-riding some of the settings. Any tuner I now go to has to deal with a modified EEC, so base settings wont work. GOod luck!

What about the Predator? It's supposed to store the OEM program, then reflash your chip with a performace tune. You can go back to original anytime you choose, with no trace of the intervening changes. I'm considering this because I also want to preserve my warranty... How about one of you Predator guys responding to this and confirming or correcting this understanding... And/or, is there someone who tried this and found out the Predatoe hype to be just hot air... I'd like to know.
