Computer swap?

I have a 1994 cobra and i have heard that the computers in the sn95 are junk. Can you use a computer from a fox body stang?

1994 cobra
procharger p600b
NX express intercooler nitrios
Flow master exaust w/ x pipe
Venom 400 pcm
BBK headers
Ford racing pullies
Ford racing wires 9mm

What's the piont in going from one stock computer to another. The kit from pro-m cost about $600 for that price you're better off buying a eec tuner and adjust it to your exact specification.

well ive heard that you can take the computer from a fox and it will really help

Yeah it works all better than the computer in the GT. The Cobra computers were a little bit smarter. Buying one out of a Fox still cost a lot though. You have to buy the computer and the harness. There might be more. I priced it one time and it was like $450ish. For the money you can get a TwEECer or something. The PMS unit looks to be the best buy right now but it cost $800. And if you really want to go big AEM makes a nice unit. But as for the fox you will just be wasting you money.

94-95 computers are more tuneable then the fox comps, So i would just get a ECCtunner or TwEECer for it....if you want to make it work as good as a fox just get the FMS rpm extender and it work better then the fox computer for cheaper
