Just a little back ground of how this 1989 GT has gotten to where it is at this time, for those who might be interested?

May 1989 my wife needed a daily driver to and from work and since I’ve always been a Ford person and we’ve always talked about owning a Mustang the choice was simple, we bought the 1989 GT with only 7 miles on the odometer. My wife drove the 89 GT for a little over 10 years and put on over 145,000 on the odometer, so happens Oct 1999 we bought another car for her as a daily driver and the 1989 GT became my project car. With some help from my 2 sons we took the old stock 1989 GT and made it what you see today ALMOST STOCK.

My first mod was the exhaust and from there I did the 5 lug conversion because I was tired of the stock Turbines rims and I had a bigger selection of rims to choose from if I went with the 5 lug conversion. We all know that one thing leads us to another so my next mod was to the suspension, those mods usually took me a week or so to do.
November 2000 I started cleaning up the engine bay with welding up holes and painting the engine bay, hiding wires, vacuum lines and I polished every pieces of aluminum that was on the engine or in the engine bay, and had the engine rebuild since it had around 150,000 on the odometer and that took me about 4 months to complete.
November 2 years later I decided to have the whole car painted since it still had the factory paint, and that’s when I went back in the engine bay and pulled all the wires behind the dash and out of the engine bay, rerouted the brake lines so that they’re not so noticeable and basically finished that project up 3 months later; and is what you see today.
2 years ago I bought a ported Tubular GT-40 Intake and I polished that, so as you can see I still do some things to the car but most of the big mods are done now, and now it’s time to enjoy the car before I hand it over to my grandson in a few more years.
