I don't think anyone's mentioned that you can get mufflers to kill the exhaust note. Problem solved Mine was never loud stock, now it gets kinda annoying on long trips. On the streets, I love it. Highway, not so much. But that's solved with turning up the radio

200K miles bores you? Do a rebuild! Rear end whines? get gears installed correctly (if that's not the problem, I have no idea what you're talking about then)

Can't say much for the interior or available space, but all the other things you mentioned can be changed/upgraded.

No reason to feel guilty about it, we all get there. Even I feel bored at times with mine, and look what I did to it.

Call me ignorant but,I love my stang to no end.I have a truck that hasnt been started in 3 years.I use my stang to take me all over the country with all my tools and clothes for usally about 2 months away from home.I have no ac,no radio and the stupid plastic rollers in my window reg jus gave out.I dont care, all I need is the exhaust note and im in heaven. My son loves the front seat,my wife wont get in the stang with me and anyone else that doesnt like it can walk for all I care.I suppose there are those that just get tired of it all,but I dont think im that guy.Ill be buried in a forest green frpp coffin.

Sorry to hear that Doug. I thought about selling mine like 8 years ago when I bought the Buick Grand National. Since its paid for its really hard to let it go so I won't. I'm passing it down to my son who's only 7 right now. Should be a cool ride for him when the time comes. Good Luck.
