Control arm help

Ok, I need some new control arms for my car. The stock ones have over 145k on them and I want something better, BUT i don't want to spend the extreme amounts from steeda or MM.

I've been looking at the d&d performance "Econo" control arms. They seem like a nice piece, but in the same price range I'm also looking at the upr solid ones. Then theres the blue oval industry ones on ebay.

Someone please help point me in the right direction!

I have the D&D ones. They definitely tightened up the rear of the car. Everything fit great too.

I have the D&D control arms as well - seem to be made very nice. I had to run to the hardware store to get a couple bolts so that my ebrake bracket would mount up.

Car feels tighter but 60fts at the track are still exactly the same before and after. I didn't have any problems with wheelhop before and my stock bushings all looked pretty good - YMMV. I reused stock upper bushings on axle end which is the recommended way according to MM.

It took two months for me to get mine because they were "out of bushings". Email box was always full and bounced back to me. When the calls/emails did go through I got a prompt response however.

As with everything in car parts - "ya get what you pay for". I'd give them a 6/10.

I guess I can't really comment. I've got a set of MM non-adjustable arms sitting in my room now that I'll be putting on whenever I get a chance to. They certainly weren't cheap. But I can't wait to feel the car with no slop in the rear. Happy times. I read tons of info before I decided to take the plunge, and I guess your best bet for a cheap set would be something like the D&D/UPR/BBK ones with poly. bushings and just replace the uppers with the FRPP ones which have the rubber bushings. They're all pretty much the same except for the Steeda ones, which are a far better design, but again, you get what you pay for.

i have the maximum motorsport non-adjustable lowers with the ford racing heavy duty uppers with rubber bushing. my bushings and shocks were shot when i replaced all of it at once. made it feel like a new car and it hooks much better now
