Convertable Top Frame repair Questions.

I have the shop manuals but I cant find any Convertable Top information. BTW its a 1986 Stang.

My frame has a bent frame part and I want to just get a frame from the bone yard to replace the assembly. Anyone know where I can find information to remove the frame?

should be bolted in behind the rear interior 1/4's. rather than replace the whole frame, there used to be a guy on ebay that sold rails for the frame. I bought a couple from him last year. let me see if I can find his store.

I found the guy on ebay but his said 87-93. I notied that in many catalogs they list the 83-86 then 87-90 then 91-93 as different tops and some parts. Does anyone know what the difference is? I will hit the bone yards looking for 83-86 verts to get the header frame.
