Converting my 88 to mass air. I obviously dont want a stock meter on it, and it should probably have bigger injectors too. I have fully ported gt40p heads with 5 angle valves, a crower 15511 cam 468/486 218/224@.50, 1.7roller rockers, welded and ported explorer intake, 70mm tb, longtubes, off road h, ultraflows with dumps, on motor car was running mid 12's faster than 107 in the quarter. I also have a 200 shot up and running for the track, so easy 11's to come. What meter size and brand do I need, and what size injectors?? I was thinking 30#'s since I want to step up to afr 185's, with a custom cam soon. I dont have a cold air intake, I have the stock air box and a k and n, so the maf meter would have to fit that as well. Thanks in advance, I dont have a clue as to what is what with mass air.

I have the same basic set up as you do on my 87 only I have a e303 cam and I did the mass air conversion and i am running a pro-m 75mm mass air meter and 24# injectors. and it worked out great but If I was gonna do it again I would use the 30# injectors.

I have a 86 GT w/ a 306, edelbrock heads,F303, and GT40 intake. When I first coverted mine I used a C&L 73 mass air w/ 24lb injectors and It ran real good.I just changed to 30lb injectors and u wouldn't beleive the difference.Throttle response and all around driveability is alot better.I'm also running nitrous. My car picked more than 3 tenths at the track. If I were u I would go ahead w/ the 30's

Yeah i second the 30's as well. I just was not comfortable with 24's so i just got the 30's and the rest is history.
