I've always had this crazy 10 hole idea, i used to be a bit of a 10 hole nut....it would be hella expensive, but maybe you've got the cash?

Anyways, the deep lip around the outter edge, cut the whole outer lip off there, and somehow make them into 16s (not 17s....that's too drastic and would be really obvious). Then, widen the backs to about 9-10 inches and 8-9 in the front, then run some decently low profile fatties all the way around.

To me theres nothing that can be done to make those hideous wheels look good.
Swap them out for some Pony's.

Ive thought about the deep dish look...would be kool for sure! Reason im askin all this is cause I need to get some new tires and if Im gonna get new rubber, I want the right wheels. I thought about goin 5 lug and swappint he 98 cobras I sold to a buddy back on...but this is a daily car and my money is better spent (and needed right now) on my 66 turbo car...so cheap and/or do it yourself is best!

If you stick with the 10 holes, get yourself some 265/50/15s for the back and something close to that for the front....the backs will bulge out a bit and give an illusion of being a little bit deep dished, but they don't bulge enough to rub or be dangerous.

Maybe have them painted black and get the lip polished? Might look cool.

See mine. (Slightly bigger version of my avatar pic is in My Garage.)

One can of VHT High-Temp primer and VHT High-Temp Brake Caliper Paint in Gloss Black, some sandpaper, some masking tape, and a couple of hours to waste. (Didn't actually polish the wheel lips, just masked them off - they're already machine-finished from the factory, it would seem.)

I don't have centercaps, but after painting the spindle caps and axle ends to match, it doesn't really stand out. The chrome lugnuts kinda work well with it, too, I figure.

Since you still have your centercaps, it'd look better to paint them to match the rest of the wheel than to leave 'em bare metal ... unless you're going for a pseudo-Cobra wheel look...? (Those Cobra repro' wheels that're black with the polished lip and center look mighty nice on a black Fox, IMO.)

You're right. Everyone should go 5 lug and put Cobras on their Fox.

I love 10 Holes! I'd love to find a 17x9 inch replica for these wheels. My only complaint about these things is the tire selection limitations resulting from the 15 inchers.

If it were me.... I'd prolly lower it about and inch and nothing else. Put a blower on that bad boy and keep it stock looking on the outside. Very clean looking car.

They are pretty narrow. I want to say 8 in. but I think they're actually 7.5. I've never actually measured them.

I run 245 55 15s on them. They're a nice fit.

15x7...would prolly look good if I painted them a nice soft silver similar to how they are but make sure its all the same color, center cap and all and then lower it a bit...might look nice. I was lookin at 225/50/15 tires for a decent stance and decent traction...heard that a 225 was the widest you SHOULD go on a 7 rim...should I maybe go like a 245???
