Here's the two best shots I could find that I have at the moment for wheel detail. I tried fartin' around with MS Paint and blacking out the centers to see how it'd look, but I dunno ... just looked like something was missing. Maybe I'm just used to seeing it look the way it does right now.

wow i cant believe people autually like these wheels... i guess if its a wheel you like then theres no end to what you could do i dont care for the wheels but i think if they were polished they would look nice on your car with your tips polished also that is...i dont think a black wheel would look nice with that color car IMO.

and who ever it was that sugested getting rid of them and getting ponys.....im pretty sure you were talking about the 4 lugs... but i think all foxes should be 5 lug stupid thing on fords part to begin with

Here is my 86 coupe. Had the 10 holes polished. They are kind of a pin in the a$$ to keep up.
225/60/15 and 275/50/15

Those rims look great polished, never seen it done before..... I have a set of 10 holes with my slicks mounted on them...
I also ran the same tire sizes when I had 15" rims, the 275/50's really fill out the rear nice.

After I put my ponies on my car, I decided to paint up my old 10 holes for my buddies car, until he crashed it. This is what I came up with:

I think i've tried every paint/polish style to these wheels you can think of....personally i don't care much for them painted black (and i LOVE black wheels). I did use some Dupli Color wheel coating that i liked the look of:

I liked to run them without any center caps and with some nice capped end lug nuts...looked pretty musclecarish.

10 holes with some fat tires out back do look pretty good on a lowered coupe:

That was my car WAY back in the day with a nasty Maaco blue paint job that the previous owner gave it. I thought it looked rad but the headers scraped over everything so i put some Eibach Pro Kit springs on it to raise it up to a drivable height. I think the wheel color i have them painted in would look great with the stock polished lip unpainted. Unfortunately i couldn't do that because my wheels were already painted with actual car paint and i didn't want to fool with stripping them all.

I saw a fox with maby not those exact wheels but one's just like it. Gloss black pained with pollished centercaps. It looked real, real good. They were on a former GSP coupe as well. The pollished lip idea looks good too, if the pait was real shiny. Maby a chrome center cap too.

I painted my turbines flat black, which was ugly, but they were so ugly in the first place, they looked good.

That looks like a nice, unmolested notchback you have there. Don't do too much to it.

Black powdercoated 10-holes with silver center caps would look good, and go well with the black side moldings.

I dig the black centercaps with just the Ford oval left machine-polished/bare. Subtle without going overboard on the black. I just might have to hunt down a set of centercaps and try that on mine - I'm probably keeping my 10-holes for track wheels/tires after I switch to Ponies.
