Is the mac straight shot intake worth the money for a 98 mustang get and how much hp will it add with a 75mm throttle body and 100cfm plenum?

Well, the problem with metal intakes is the heat soak. You completely negate the positive effects of increased air flow by heating the air charge. If you plan on going this route, I suggest a JLT CAI or RAI (the RAI is much like the straight shot, but its plastic), along with the TB and plenum. But don't expect a huge gain from it...

The JLT just looks better IMO...you can get it painted to match your body color if you choose. I just got mine in black though.

You don't gain much HP from a CAI really...
