Coolant hose took a dump

Well actually it didn't took a dump, it just has a hole on it. Anyways, I found this hole on the coolant hose that goes on the backside of the engine, between the firewall and the engine to be exact. It's the one that connects to one of the heater hoses with a "T". How do you remove it? Anybody got a pic or a diagram?

I'd appreciate if you point me to the right direction. Thanks!
