Alright- since everything in my car seems to want to leak coolant- here's the latest piece:
The metal piece under the coolant temp sender (to gauge) where a hose to the water pump goes in- what the crap is that thing called? I'm guessing I need to replace it, since leakage is bad :) Thanks! Mark W.

I am not following the location you are referring to. The only hoses I can think of running to the water pump are the little hose that goes into the thermostat housing, the main hoses to and from the water pump to the radiator, and the hose that goes to the black tube that sends coolant to the heater core and throttle body. If you have a picture it would help make a better diagnosis of the source of the leak and how it could be fixed.

Holy !! Batman :) No, well, here's the thing- the hose runs back to the water pump. The engine (block/heads) are out of a '96 F-150 (don't ask- it wudn't me! :)), so I've had a few similar WTF moments. So I'm looking through the appropriate Haynes manual for the truck- no pictures that show it.
Okay- so from the front of the car, on the left bank (1->4), at the front right above the t-stat is where I'm talking about.
Sorry for no pics- no camera either :( Friends, beer, and sensitive electronics- bad things :)
Thanks again! Mark W.
