Got two quick questions.

Did any other ford automoble use the same overflow tank as the 87-93 mustang v8?

Same as above but regarding the EGR valve.

Also, anyone know of a place to order a used overflow ? I don't want to pay $60+ for a plastic bottle.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I just remembered that Couger's and Grand Marque's of that time period used the non H0 engine. I just don't know the exact years. Would their EGR valves and or coolant overflows be the same?

The coolant overflow for the cougers are different. I'm on a search now to replace a cracked overflow.

And I also don't want to pay $60 for a plastic bottle. But have had not much luck. Most of the Mustangs in the salvage yards around me are 4 bangers...And if it has a V8 the tank has already been taken.

The best price I found was a www.50resto.com

Anyone know any overflow bottles that can be used on the opposite side of the fan? Like from a junkyard? I switched to electric, and I might just bolt my old one over there, but its cracked.

50 resto is the best price I've found, too. It's still $60-65. I don't want to pay that yet. Mine broke because I switched to an electric fan. I mounted it half *** and after 5-6 months the top mounting tab broke in two from all the vibrations and bumps in the road. :bang:

I making a trip to a bone yard tomorrow. On their website they list a couple of fox body's, doesn't say if they are V8's or not. It's www.pullapart.com. E-mailed them with no reply. :notnice:

Let me know if you guys find any body for a better price.

dont buy off of 50 resto,i have access to one with a timing pointer for 25 bucks, you can find them man, call around junkyards. if not, go on corral to your local threads, and post if any of the members have any for sale. they are out there, and you can find them cheap :nice:

Mustang5L5,

Thanks for the offer, but for now I can mount it till I decide what I really want to do. I just need to car to run without sucking air in the system. I'm thinking about following ponycrazy's idea since I have an electric fan and using the stock just doesn't look right.
