About a month ago I replaced my water pump with a summit high flow pump. ( stock housing with new impeller ) I also put in a summit aluminum radiator. since then I have worked out the air pockets and the temp stays around 180 deg. even when im beating on it. My problem is that after Im done beating on the car for a while, I always have coolant that excapes from the overflow tank. Then when the car cools down my low coolant level light comes on because there is no coolant in the over flow. As i said before the temp always stays between 180 and 200,but this coolant thing is pissin me off. I am using the stock 16psi pressure cap on the radiator. I was thinking about getting a lower pressure cap but im not sure how that would affect the cooling system. Any ideas that may help would be great.

hrmmm... Im not sure about why its using the coolant from the overflow.. maybe because you still have air in there.. and when you get hot it sucks it from the overflow tank.. I would not advise on using a lower pressure cap cuz I thing each lb of cap pressure lowers or raises the boiling point like 8 degrees or something.
