So my low coolant light has been coming on every once in awhile in my 95 and then I just add a little to the reservoir, but I've never seen anything so I didnt really worry about it. But today the engine was steaming but not overheating so I checked under the hood and I had some nice green pools on the top of my pump. Its not overheating and the pump sounds fine so I've ruled those out so its obviously a gasket. I'm hoping its the T-stat gasket and I'm going to change that and the stat since its the original one. I'm assuming if it was the pump gasket it would make more mess on the front or bottom of the pump but no can do. I'll let you all know how it goes since I'm in the middle of changing it right now and tomorrow I drive to and front work, so if I dont see or smell anything then I guess I'm good. On a second note, I hate the clamps Ford used on the hoses in 95!! Its those ones where you have to squeeze them together and its a pain getting grips on them when your between the accessories and the radiator. While I am in there, I am going from the stock 192 to the 180.

Ford clamps are great if you have the special pliars and are installing them at the factory! Slip jaw pliars just seem to slip out of position causing foul language to be blurted (*** damn pliars. F*c*in Ford Engineers, I hatel you for this!)
I had puddles on the pump and found a micro hole in the radiator (near the top clamp)aiming at the pump area....I could only see it when the motor was hot and running. Then I get a vapor mist of Ethlyene Glycol in my eye, end up at the doctors office with a "chemical burn of the eye"....loose 2 days work, eye itches like hell and took a month to heal. It would of been cheaper to leave it be. Now when ever I'm working on the car I have the safety glasses on!

-I'm sorry man, I have to laugh. Thats just so random. I had this vision of helping you with your car and your all leaning down to look at stuff and this crap sprays in your eye and your all flipping out. Its like something I would see at ebaumsworld.com or something. Anyways, I swapped the T-stat and gasket, let it sit for awhile and drop it around the block and let it sit somemore. Gauge is just a little below in the middle and there isnt a drop anywhere, but like I said only time will tell as I drive to and from work a few times. Seems to be an uneventful ordeal so far.
