In heavy traffic or lots of stop-and-go driving my temp climbs steadily out of control. I've tried several things to get it to cool down. No luck. On the highway or a good cruising speed it'll sit around 190, other than that it goes over 210 and will keep climbing until I get going again. I have a 347 stroker with AFR heads. Ford Racing aluminum dual row radiator. Weiand mechanical water pump with underdrive pulley. Flex-a-lite electric fan with thermal control matched to a 180 degree stat. I've tried different coolant mixes 80/20, 70/30, 50/50. etc. I even tried water wetter. Nothing is helping.
