I am running a 4 core radiator and mechanical fan in my 351w in my 69 now. I saw some over heating so it is time to upgrade. Any recomendations for electric fan(dual or single) and Alumininum radiator?
Before you go dumping money into things that may not correct your problem, have you tried to pinpoint the problem?
your fix could be as easy as a new radiator cap
how hot is it running?
does it run hot at low speeds, high speeds, all the time?

Ditto that. Going by the stock gage is a mistake as well unless the coolant is boiling.
A 4-row and flex should be able to handle a fair bit of engine without getting hot. I like to use my car as an example; 3-row 21" brass radiator and the stock fan with no shroud and no overheating. Mods in sig.
Just so you know, an electric fan is not going to cool as well as a pump-driven fan and the electrics that can will likely need an alternator upgrade. If economy or power a concern, a thermostatic fan clutch is a very good alternative.
I just replaced all the guages adding new auto meter guages. That is when I first noticed that the temp was riding high at 250. I also noticed a week later after switching to Royal Purpal synthetic oil that my oil pressure was at 15 PSI at 2300 rpm. At this time I plan on replacing oil pump with a high volume to address the issue but wanted to help out by insuring that the coolant system was doing its part. I just recently purchased the car so do not know alot about its history.
As mentioned above, a 4 row should be sufficient for a 351.
I use a 4 row 24" copper radiator with a clutch fan with my 393w stroker and 3:70 gears. 180 thermostat and no shroud. Runs cool as a cucumber, even with a new, tight engine.

How is your timing,
Hows your air/fuel mixture, you may be running too lean.
Yes, That oil pressure is way too low but a HV pump may not do anything for your pressure. Are you sure all of the apropriate galley plugs are in place? you may have an internal leak.
Was the oil pressure different before?
Cooling problems at all speeds. Air/fuel and timing seem to be good. I am runnning just a little rich now. That factory guage was in place before and didnt give me a good idea of pressure levels. Now letting it sit until I get the problem fixed. I was also wondering if the oil pick up might be blocked. Thanks for the help guys!

Your low oil pressure may be the cause. A hi-volume pump may worsen the problem by pumping your oil pan dry. Low oil pressure at idle and low r.p.m.'s is often a sign of worn or turned bearings. How many mile are on the engine? Oil is not only a lubricant, but a major coolant to the engine.
On the other hand, you could just have a cloggef coolant system. Need more info.
