Core Support

who all has had to have their core support replaced? My son's 00 v6 is needing one and all the body shops around here are quoting like 1k to 1500 for replacing it. According to the estimates they are ordering one that costs between 600 and 650 for it. The rest is in labor and paint. Btw I'm in NE Alabama
