I've run two c5's in my day before the blower.
Auto 04, beatiful car but the guy threw a rev at me so I said ahh what the heck.
My car:
Edel 300hp package considered weak by today's standards.
BBK long tubes, mac power chamber, ultraflo's dumped
3.55 gear
24lb injectors and 70 bullit mass air and my car ran a best of 12.501 @ 109 with a 1.771 60ft spining the tires a couple of revolutions.
My car without me weights 3210...fully loaded coupe. This was with the drag lites
the auto car I killed by a good 5 cars... 3500 rpm launch on mickey et's blast to about 80 mph
I've since ditched my drag lites and reinstalled the stock ponys with 245/50/16's and enjoy it all that much more. I just enjoy my car for what it is and acknowledge that there are plenty faster cars on the road.
The new Zed is a serious machine at a serious price tag. If someone dropped 70-75 on a new Zed, they every right to out perform my vintage soap box.
If you want serious power--- look up Anderson Ford's website. He has a recipe for 780 rwhp on pump gas. I think you can pretty much take care of business with 780 rwhp especially if you have your car set up to launch on the street.
