So Ive been reading up on superchargers lately and have a question about pricing. Seems there usually are 2 different setups from various brands. 1 usually is around 540 hp the other around 620 hp. The prices between the 2 are pretty much the same and Im tryin to figure out why/how. Is it just a preference of the driver and doesnt cost anymore in parts?

The prices of all superchargers are all around the same. Centrifugal superchargers usually r cheaper then your twin screw blowers. Of course the most expensive one u can buy is from the manufacturer which is ford and it's basically a whipple supercharger. The cheapeest one is thr 525 kit and then the big dog is 625 but u can also buy a tuner kit that u can have someone else tune and that ones is a few hundred dollars cheaper.

It all depends on what u want. Centrifugal, roots style, twin screw. What r u looking for out of your car?

It depends on the kit for example the 524hp vs the 624hp FRPP kit are very minimal differences other then pulley and the tune that is why cost is difference is minimal.
