no, i'm talking about dunn/benson dragstrip. very poor track prep and the track isnt kept very well maintained either.

Same price to race or watch...$13 per person. But they don't check the trunk so the cost goes down if you get creative...hehe. I haven't done that since the high school days.
i had a bed cover on my ranger in highschool. we would pile about 6 guys in the bed and they would each give me a dollar. i would use thier money to get in and then they would all pile out of the bed when we parked...those were the good ole days
Sacramento Raceway - i think it was like 35$ on a Test N Tune night, and 15$ for Bracket ET/Elimination.
the 35$ for TnT is well worth it, as theres basically only real cars(not 15-20 fast ones and 300 honduh's) there for a reason, and you can basically just go from racing, come through the pits and hop back on the strip and drag again.
San Antonio Raceway ( 1/4 mile ) is $10 to get in and an extra $5 if you want to race on Wednesday & Friday for test & tune. Once a month they have a "Midnight Madness" thing going on a Saturday from 9pm - 2am. On that night it's $10 whether you want to run or not. It's set up to be like street racing, it's all heads up run what you brung (although they do run some brackets that night). I also love it because it's open year round.. Yay Texas weather.
I raced out at "The Farm" for years but it's been a few years back since I moved away, it was a very good place to race then but has changed hands since. From what I can see from their web-site it has a few improvements and is still a great place for an 1/8 mile track.
If you're in Winston, it's only a 20 min ride over, go and check it out, from what I hear from some Family still there it's $10 bucks for Friday Night Thunder Events. I think this week (tonight) is a tune and test for $10 too.
All I run are TnT nights.
Ohio Valley raceway $15 to race $5 to watch 1/8 mile
Beechbend raceway $10 to race $5 to watch 1/4 mile ..... too bad it's like 2 hours away.
MMP (Montgomery Motorsports Park) charges $10 whether you want to watch or whether you want to race. No tech either... it's a true "run what ya brung" kind of facility.
