I was just on the 'bay and came across this LX. It looks like cougar taillights to me. The auction says he put these on because his LX tails kept getting stolen.

What is the verdict, yes or no? The cougar medallions in the center kill it, otherwise it may not be that bad. Definitely different though.

The eBay guy said:
You can see it has "custom" tailights... This is because, the original ones kept getting stolen.

I guess he had to put those ugly ones on there so they wouldn't get stolen any more.

Fox taillight lenses are way too easy to steal, you can pull them right off with no tools. It's even easier on a hot day when the sealant is warm and soft; thats why I put some stainless screws on each corner of the upper and lower part of the housing so nobody can just come up and pick-n-pull my lenses. They might break them if they try hard enough, but they won't have them.

Very ugly but I do understand why he did that. He needs to get a garage to park that baby in so he can put the proper lenses back on.

I'd be pissed if someone stole mine though. Can't people get a job and buy crap?
