Hey all,
I was speaking with the guys from Dallas Mustang and they said I could not use a B cam with my current setup due to having 1.72 rr's. I am pretty new to cam specs and such and just want to make sure I would not be getting myself into trouble if I upgraded my cam. I currently have gt40 aluminum heads and a pretty mush stock bottom end and was wondering what kind of clearence issues if any I may have by upgrading my cam. If the B cam would not work are there any others that you would recommend? I would like to keep the car streetable and not affect the idle to awful much but always love a bit of a lope to it. Also would there be much of a noticable difference upgrading my cam from stock with the 172 rr's installed? I am going to be replacing the old stock intake with a Trick Flow and was thinking of doing the cam at the same time. Any opinions would be much appreciated.
