I'm hoping to get there for Saturday. What's the best time to be there by? The last few years i've only been able to make Sunday and I think it is only the finals?

Sat. and Sunday are setup like to different events. That way if you lose Sat. you can come back the next day and try again. Get there early afternoon if you are just going to watch. Just my opion, of course if it was me I would be there all weekend.

Getting closer! I'll be leaving Plymouth at high noon with my twin brother on Friday. If anyone else is going up from the south/north shores and would like to cruise your Stangs on up with us, come along! We can arrange to meet up with you somewhere (as long as it's right off the highway.)

I've also decided to run my Cobra for the first time on Friday night. I'm not expecting much, as my rear upper/lower control arms and 8.8 rearend are not installed yet. Hopefully I can be in the 13's with street tires, on the 7.5 rear (3.45 gears.) My mph should determine if I can be a legitimate 12 second car or not. I'm curious as hell!

Thanks! If the weather holds out, I'll try to make it to Bourne tomorrow night. I kinda wish you were going to N.H. It's always nice to see familiar faces in the Mustang Crowd.

Only a couple of the bracket classes are run like this. The heads up classes and I believe mod motor and top truck qualify on Saturday and run eliminations on Sunday. I would say that Sunday is a better day to spectate.

Can someone give me a break down of the days and overall which is the best day to go? I'm most interested in the faster events, i.e. street renegade, outlaw, pro5.0.... and stuff like that.

I've been to various days in the past years, but i've never been able to get their early in the day. This year im bringing some friends and we are going to get their early. I just want to bring them to the best day.

I may as well throw up a URL:

http://www.funfordevents.com/index....13&PHPSESSID=418c4244d1d4760cf7b70f2d12544d9f

I'll try to make it. You might see a for sale sign on my 96 Cobra (stock w/ 52kmi). If I decide to sell it, the price will be very reasonable.

The best to watch is Sunday because it is the elimanations and every is trying harder.I just come back from Bristol TN fun ford weekend. True street runs Saturday if you might want to run in that.Watch for Billy Gliddon he ruled street outlaw.I run true street and its alot of fun running on a protree.I only run 11.80 but i dont guess thats to bad for a daily driver.

Hey guys! Anybody else going to run Street Stang??? I know of at least 5 guys running this class so far. It's a heads up class but there is an index of 12.50. Which means you are now allowed to run faster than that. No power adders allowed, N/A cars only. They can have any kind of h/c/i and be just about any cubic inch as long as it's a small block I believe. You just need to run on street radials. No slicks, et streets, drag radials or any other competition tire. Anybody interested??? Just figured it would be a good class to run for people with street cars that can run in the mid-low 13's. That's probably all it will take to be competitive!

Nevermind.
By the way, I am going up to run Friday night, and then on the weekend as well. If anyone wants to meet up up there let me know. I always like to meet fellow Mustang owners.

I'll be heading up with My brother (Hissing Cobra) on Friday. I'll be running True Street on Sat with my E.T Streets. I'll also be running Friday night on my regular street tire Radials. I just looked up on the schedule and it says the track is open from 12.00 p.m. - 4.00 p.m. for test and tune and also tech in. Whats up with that? It says the track is closed and secured at 6.00 p.m. Does anybody know if this is true? Usually every year it is always open on Friday night from 6.00-10.00 p.m. on this weekend. My car qualifies for the Street stang class but my tires are too big they stick out about a 1/8" past the wheel lip It sounds like an interesting class! Good luck to everyone going! Hope we all have a nice weekend.
