Hi guys, new member but long time stang fan returning to the herd. I just pulled a 1991 lx trunk car out of a friend's back yard and purchased it for $500. It's gonna need a lot of work but seems pretty sound mechanically. My current problem is the deck lid. Someone took the trunk tension rods off so it slams spectacularly. I'm bidding on a set on ebay but I don"t know how the damn things are mounted in there. Could someone take and post a few pics of how they're mounted so I don't have to struggle so much with these guys when I get them?

It didn't have the torsion rods on the trunk of the red car, I did the same thing like the monster has, and installed lift struts.
