Couple Electrical Connections in Engine

The first is an "O" type connector which could fit around a head bolt. It's apart of the connections that go to the Throttle Body. Is this a ground?

Also there is a pretty thick gauge "12-14" wire coming from right near the coil on the drivers side all the way to the passenger side. It barely stretch's to the stud on the alternator. I'm pretty sure it goes on along with the little red wire on that stud, is this correct?

One more connection. On the firewall side of the upper manifold, what is that port suppose to connect to? The other side is hooked up to my BOV.

Here is the picture. On the back of the intake, I'm not sure on the PVC valve where it goes, and I'm not sure which one is for vacuum.
