Couple of cam questions

HEy guys i currently am running the b303 cam from ford racing but that is not a blower cam. I was looking into the f303 cam would that work with my setup? Also will i see a difference in power? Also is the f cam any good or should i look else where thanks.

We have a very similar setup. I am running an E cam. I have always heard that the E cam was considered a "blower cam". Whether it is or not, i dont know. There was a thread a couple of days ago reguarding cams. From what i understand, blower cams generally have a little less duration than NA cams. Also, their lobe separation is closer than most other cams. It is very possible that i am talking out of my a$$ too. I really dont understand the dynamics of CAMS.

Of corse alot of people suggest going custom grind or maybe a steeda or anderson ford motorsport cam..........etc.....From what i've read, i am under the impression that most people on this board tend to stay away from the motorsport cams.

By the way, how do you get by with running 24's on that motor?

Thanks....good luck!

The F-cam would not be bad but there are other shelf grinds that will make more power. I used one on the older Wolverine grinds recently and I was very impressed, it would work fine with your combo and the stock E-brock springs.

I used a cam that I get through my dealer from the company who bought the old Wolverine specs, they are around $160..

The one I used was .491/.509 212/222 107/117 @.050, nice smooth hp and tq curve and it has excellent street manners
