Couple questions about my combo..

my plans are as follows:
Street Heat Intake
Comp Cams 268 Xtreme Cam Kit .512 lift (like a f cam) comes with lifters n pushrods
GT-40 Heads
King Cobra Clutch
70mm MAF
65mm TB or bigger???
19 lb injectors or bigger?
3:73 gears already installed

anything else I mite consider??

Im gonna b spraying a 100 shot of nitrous also

Also what size slicks should I be running on stock 15" turbine wheels?

This combo is really stressin me out I need a 12 sec timeslip in 2 months and I dont want to leave anything out.

THANKS!:canada:

consider a different clutch, from expirience I've at up 2 king cobras ina year. I bought a advanced auto heavy duty clutch, still good. Second, if I'm not mistaken if your putting on a bigger MAF you'll need bigger injectors then the piuny 19 pounders. Like 24s atleast.

I think that is a flat tappet cam , stick with a roller cam , trickflow stage one is a good off the shelf cam

Comp Cams XE 268H Exteme Energy hydraulic cam
Hydraulic lifters
Timing chain
Matched valve springs
Valve spring retainers
Valve locks
Valve stem seals

HYDRAULIC: Great for street machine, 2200+ stall torque converter. RPM Range: 1,600-5,800 RPM

is this a flat or roller cam?

TFS Stage 1 cam.

Stick with the 19's if on stock E7's. Get a C&L or aftermarket MAF for them though, will help it breathe.

Good aftermatker upper/lower intake. Possibly a Throttle body if you got the cash for it.

McCleod clutch (not twin disc). they run a lil over 300 bucks and you KNOW McCleod is top notch stuff!

If you go with GT40 heads, get a set of 24#'s with a 75mm+ MAF for them.

You'll be good to go. Sticky tires, fats/skinnies, and drive the piss out of it and its got 12's!

this is the extreme energy 264 HR cam you want.
as for the K.C. clutch i have one in my car right now i spray 150hp shot of juice and i have a 351w which makes gobs more torque then you guys running 302's. I have run 11's with this clutch on slicks. hell i busted a axle shaft with this clutch. must not slip. Its a good clutch. for slicks i ran 26x10.5'sx15 on factory turbines. worked great.

run comp cams XE266HR or XE274HR cams those are very good cams, run lager TB 70mm, get at least 24 pounders inyectors, for the clutch run spec stage 2 or something like that (dont run centerforce they suck) and if i were u i port the GT40's they dont flow much and put LT's headders and for the tires you can run M/T street 26X10.5 they grip hard and they are DOT aproved...good luck and you should be on 12's

I have atleast 20k miles on my centerforce dual friction clutch. Over 12k miles with the 408w in my sig. The throw out bearing has gone bad before the clutch :nonono: The centerforce is very good and streetable.

The only complaint I have heard on the spec clutch is that it is tough to slip in daily driving. Your fully engaged or fully disengaged, no slipping the clutch into gear when in traffic.

that is the exact problem i found with the center force. My fatherin laws gravel drive way didn't seem to like that clutch any. always had 2 wheels spinning.

There has to be 800 sets of heads out there that are better than the gt-40 if you do not have them already look into other options, my dart proheads were 1100 complete and they will out flow those gt-40's all day long, a motor is only as good as it cylinder heads, you need at least 76mm mass air and a 70mm tb, 24lb injectors and you have to put in a new fuel pump the stocker is 88lph you need at least 190lph if not more if you plan for more power in the future. also look into custom cams more power and a cam that is right for your appilcation, and only and few dollars more,i made this miskate, i like my e-cam but i would not buy it again
