So I was looking at finally purchasing a set of rims for my mustang. I am going with a set of 17x7's. Now the question is do I go Coy's C-5 or Torq Thrust II's.

The Coy's seem like they'd be cheaper, but I have not shopped around enough for the Torq thrust II's...

What do you guys think?

I like the TT II better! The Coys look like a knock off to me. They look cheap. It might just be the pictures I saw though.

Coy's Wheels

Mine are Coy's and I liked that they had:
-Flat lip from edge to spokes (TT II have an extra lip hump)
-Valve stem behind spoke, off lip
-No problems with my wheels.

Front: 18x7 4.50 Backspacing - BF G Force 225/40/18
Coils were cut, fenders not rolled, very minor rubbing on front left on hard turns

Rear: 18x8 4.75 Backspacing - BF G Force 245/40/18
mid eye springs, attempted to roll rear quarter lip - some rubbing on hard dips, rear disks may have caused the wheel to be out more than a drum brake

Its actually more like $800 when you get the lug nuts and valve stems and get shipping.

elaudtr:
Your pictures look a lot better than the ones on their website. The ones on their site make them look bad. Does the center cap have their logo? Are those the gunmetal?

Through Coy's, I upgraded the center caps to their bullet style. It was another $50 for all four. Each wheel did come with lug nuts, valve stems, and caps with their logo. But I am not crazy about logos and I have seen their logo wear off. I was Charged $100 for shipping to San Diego, CA.

My color is gunmetal. I did notice that Coy's now sells a flat black version of the C-5. Interesting. . .

Here is a close up of my valve stems from Gorilla. After removing the cap a valve extension is used to air up the tire.

Here is close up of the bullet cap:
