I am presently swapping my water pump on mine as well and have come against a lil problem. The last most bottom bolt seems to be behind the crankshaft pulley. I see 4 bolts on this pulley but when I try to wrench them off I just end up spinning the crank. Anyone got any good ideas to quickly get this done?

i just finished putting on my march underdrive pulleys. I had the same problem.

what you can do is use a air ratchet or you can do what i did. put the ratchet on the bolt and hit the ratchet (counter clockwise obviously)to break the bolts loose instead of putting pressure on it. of coarse i have some pretty banged up knuckles from doing it but it got done and wounds heal lol.

Next time, leave the belt on.

I didnt even know I was gonna have to do this before I took the belt off. Anyhow, The car in gear didnt stop the crank from spinning. I finally got it off by putting a pair of vice grips right in front of the last bolt on the water pump. Scraped my knuckles up but spun off all the bolts.

Thanks for all the replies.
