Well I was putting my master cylinder back on, and one of the studs on the booster completely stripped out. I have no freakin idea why but that doesnt really matter, the threads are gone. I was using a nylon nut which is why i really couldnt tell it was stripping. What are my options to fix this? The booster and master cylinder are 93 Cobra with front and rear disc brakes. If i remove my booster, can i take it apart and just get a new stud? Is that even possible?

2 options right off the top of my head.

1. get another booster from bone yard

2. The one I would do( but I like fabbing stuff) use a cut off wheel to remove old stud. Find a bolt the same size or close to it. cut off the head. Mig weld the bolt/stud to the booster.

I gotta a guy gonna try to rethread the stud to a smaller size but the, welding a bolt to the booster isnt a bad idea if it doesnt work!
