I recently purchased a 90 Hatch lx converted 4cyl. It now has a 89 GT 5.0 between the fenders. It is a carb car (Holley 600) using the stock fuel pump with a Mallory return regulator. It has a Mallory Unilite distributor and Mallory Coil. I can not find an ignition box anywhere...
Question/problem: The car will not start while cranking it - but as soon as you let go of the key it will kick off.
Can the car run without an ignition box? Any ideas will be helpful
