Drivetrain Cruise Control Doesn't Disengage With Brake

I THINK this might be because I swapped out the brake booster. That's the only thing I can think that would be different.

But the cruise control does work... just doesn't shut off when you press the brake... you have to press "Off" on the wheel to get it to stop.

Anyone know what this might be?

There is a separate vacuum switch on the brake pedal to disengage cruise. It is adjustable. This pic is a clutch/brake pedal assembly, but an automatic car brake pedal has the same.

Definitely check the vaccum dump on the brake pedal. It is adjustable, but it's also normally opened unless the pedal is in contact with it in which case the vent is closed. So not having the brake pedal touch it should result in not having any cruise control.

The stop light switch also IS wired into the cruise control module. Do your brake lights work?
