I'm curious to know how much your car weighs after the installation of a supercharger kit. Please include which supercharger kit you have and if you are convertible or hard top and auto or manual. Also, could you tell a difference in the way it handled on the street?

Thanks in advance.

I doubt the weight of even the most extensive setups would be significant enough to affect anything

I see that you have a D1 Installed. You didn't notice any difference in how it handled after the install?

Not at all. In fact, at one time I had the entire blower setup (including intercooler) in a big box for transport.....I had no problem lifting or carrying that box. Was it heavy? Sure, but no where near heavy enough to alter the geometry of the suspension.

Oh and I've got a coupe with a stalled auto

My air to air intercooled ProCharger P1 kit weighs around 50 lbs with all the piping and what not. I have a coupe with a manual trans. I didn't notice any change in handling or driving feel. My tubular K member removed the weight of the supercharger system and then some but even that didn't effect my handling performance.

There is likely some minor change with the changes in weight but it isn't noticeable to me. Certainly nothing that would make me shy away from getting a supercharger.

Superchargers are just effin' sweet.
