Anyone have suggestions for getting a custom shaft made? I'm in southern Indiana if it matters. I'm sure most shops could do it but I'm wanting to build one that will take a beating.

Inland Empire Drive Line www.iedls.com can make any drive shaft you want. They made me a 3.5" dia. aluminum shaft to handle 1200 plus HP. So I am sure that anything your puny LS can make, they can make a shaft to handle Lol.

About $350.-$400 if you want something in the 15,000 HP range. Plus S&H to LaLa land.

They make new pistons every day, so why worry?

You don't need anything fancy, I have a 3.5" steel drive shaft in my car that I paid less than 300$ for including the tailshaft yoke. I would find a local driveshaft shop and you should have something in a day or two.

Got mine from Denny's driveshaft and its real nice. Think it was $400 with the yoke. You probably have a shop local to you though. A lot of truck places make them.
