Has anybody ever done away with the stock headliner and bows? I'm wondering what it would be like to get some type of flexboard and glue fabric to it. This would increase head clearance without cutting the seat risers and might look cool. Thoughts?

It sounds like a good idea, I want to do a custom headliner anyways but I don't know where to get the flex board to do this. I would like to build one like car companies put in some of the newer cars and put vinyl on it so it looks molded. If any one has some good ideas, let us know.

I haven't done it, but I saw exactly that done to a '67 coupe on "Overhaulin'" or one of those similar shows. They actually put a video monitor in it too, over the back seat so that the (um, non-stock) front seats could recline back and watch it. I don't know if that show puts video clips up on a web site but you could search for it.

It was those idiots from Pimp my Ride that did that to the car... besides all the other half a$$ things they did to it as well.

I cant stand that show either, they never do anything right, besides, in my opinion, a painted peice of sh!# is still a peice of sh!#.
