Cut openings in front Valance for coolers

did a quick search, didnt find anything.... here goes.

I am thinking about placeing Trans & Oil coolers (the small B&M's) Behind the front valance, under the front of the cross frame.... kind of tucked in there, seems to be enough space.

has anyone done this rthat can post some pics?

I also want to cut air holes/vents in th Valance to get some air flow over the coolers, and even the lower part of the Rad... either by cutting two holes/slots on either side in front of the coolers, or, cutting an opening all the way across to open it all up.

I dont run a front license plate, no problems there. Hoping for some reference pics of others that may have don this.

You could always pickup a fiberglass bumper with the space already formed. This one accepts the stock bumper and is available from most Mustang parts websites.

Yea, I saw those, pretty cool, but I want to cut openings on either side as well for the Trans & oil cooler. I would rather work with the metal as I can cut the opening & weld a nice lip & finish it off (In mot that good with fiberglass).

I was hoping to see what others have done for some ideas

Thanks Other_Shoe, thats just what I ws looking for to see how it would look. I would either relocate the coolers, or the holes... great start nfor ideas.

When I was in my 20's I drilled some holes in my R-model valance and
fiberglassed in some 3" pvc tused to hold some driving lights. I am unhappy with the look now but took the lights out and plan to add a intercooler to the center this coming winter and may somehow incorperate them in that design.
