How many of you are running drag launch springs that are cut. I want my car to have a nice stance but the way they look with uncut drag launch springs sucks. I've heard of people cutting a coil or two. Anybody got pics of this?
Thanks,
Jesse

Got any stock or other ones you wanna part with? I have the drag springs, but they are uncut. I just broke one of the rear ones (air bag side) and need a new set.

GTO: I have a set of C springs and a set of 6 cylinder Eibachs. No stockers tho. Also, can you post a pic of your car with the drag launches again?

I've seen some pictures of moroso drag launch springs cut and if the eibachs are anything like them I'm going to cut one coil off. We'll see, I'd hate to ruin a set of springs by cutting too mucn off.

I never heard of 6cyl springs. How much do you want for them? And the C's?

My car sits pretty high with them. only a few gallons in the tank though so I will fill it up and see what the difference is.

Hold on just a second. I assume you have them installed, but is your car even fully together? When I installed the Steeda Sport Springs in Hack Job, I was freaking out that they weren't doing anything, but then I added the interior, doors, fenders, hood, gas etc....and the weight lowered the car down. I was fighting ride height on a car that wasn't even fully assemlbed. Weight til it's all together before you cut anything.

Exactly, when I put mine in there was no tranny or gas tank in the car. Looked like I was trying to fit 33's and go mudding. Once the tranny and gas tank were in(empty) it dropped it down quite a bit. Still need to put in a driveshaft and fill the tank, has 2 gallons in it now. I am sure the extra 12 gallons will drop it down a lot so we'll go from there.

For sure. I had my rear suspension complete and the car had no motor, no trans, no interior, no doors. I was scratching my head at why the car with lowering springs had it's quarters edge 33-1/2" off the ground... Once the car was fully assembled the car was down to 25" off the ground in the rear. That was too low, I had 1/2" of room before the tire hit. I raised it 1" and got it to 26" and it looked perfect.

Eh, from the looks of it, I'm going to cut a coil off the front springs before I install them. If GTO's car was an inch lower in the front I would love the stance. I'm not to crazy about them not cut.

AAAh...man...I'm tellin ya, just wait.... I messed with Hack Job so much, got it where I wanted it and then once more parts were added, it got too low. Then I had to do more work. Every car may have different parts making them different weights.

I dunno tho. I HATE doing springs with a passion. And every car I've seen, the front end is way too high up in the air. And my car is probably going to be pretty light with no A/C and my tubular k member.

You could always put 4 cyl. springs in the front, they will drop it about 1" and thransfer weight like a sob!
